# Plans and modules

> Understand what your plan includes, which screens each module adds, and what happens when a plan ends.

Your organization's plan decides which parts of Altrum you have and until when. Altrum sets it with you; nobody in your organization can change it in the product. Owners and admins see the plan and its end date in the **Organization** dialog, from the account menu (your initials, at the top right).

## Modules

Altrum comes in two modules. Your plan includes one or both.

| Module | What it adds |
| - | - |
| **Governance** | **AI systems**, **Projects** and **Compliance**: the register, assessments, risk ratings, guardrails and the approval before going live. |
| **AI Gateway** | **Discover**, **AI assets**, **Reporting**, **Budgets**, **Access reviews** and the **AI Gateway** screens: keys, providers, request logs and everything that governs live traffic. |

**Home**, **Alerts**, **Incidents**, **Audit trail**, **Members** and **Support** are in every plan.

A screen your plan or your role does not include is not in the menu, and its address answers **That page does not exist**. That is by design, not an error. To add a module, contact [support](/support).

## Plans

| Plan | Ends |
| - | - |
| Licensed | On its end date |
| Trial | On its end date |
| Demo | Never |

## When a plan ends

A licensed or trial plan ends on its end date. On that date Altrum switches the organization off:

* nobody in it can sign in;
* the AI Gateway refuses every request with `organization_inactive`;
* the owners are emailed that it happened.

Altrum does not warn you before the end date, so keep track of it in the **Organization** dialog. Nothing is deleted while the organization is off. When Altrum switches it on again, everything is as you left it, and the owners are emailed again. To extend a plan, contact [support](/support).

## Leaving Altrum

There is no button to delete your organization or your account. To close your organization or have its data removed, raise a [support ticket](/support). An owner or admin can remove a person from the organization at any time: see [Members and roles](/members-and-roles).
