Altrum has no public sign up. You join an organization by invitation, and then sign in with your email and password or with Google.

Accept an invitation

An owner or admin of your organization invites you by email. The first owner of a new organization is invited by Altrum when the organization is set up.
1

Open the link

The email You are invited to join your organization on Altrum has an Accept the invitation button. The page it opens shows the organization, the role you are invited as and your email address.
2

Create your account

Enter your first name, last name and a password, then select Create account. Or select Continue with Google with the Google account for the invited address.
You are signed in and taken to Home. An invitation works once and expires after 7 days. If the link does not work, ask the person who invited you to send a new one.

Open app.altrum.ai, enter your email and password, and select Sign in. Or select Continue with Google. Google signs you in only when your email already has an Altrum account or you are accepting an invitation for it. After 5 failed attempts for one email in 15 minutes, sign in waits before it accepts another.

Passwords

A password has 12 to 128 characters. To reset one:
1

Ask for a link

On the sign in page, select Forgot your password?, enter your email and select Send reset link. The answer is the same whether or not the address has an account.
2

Set a new password

Open the link in the email Set or reset your Altrum password. It works once and for one hour. Enter a new password and select Set password.
3

Sign in with the new password. Setting a password signs you out everywhere else.

How long you stay signed in

You stay signed in until you choose Sign out in the menu under your name, until you are idle for 8 hours, or for 7 days at most, whichever comes first. You are also signed out when an owner or admin disables or removes you.

When your organization is switched off

Altrum switches an organization off when its plan reaches its end date, or by agreement with you. While it is off, nobody in it can sign in. Nothing is deleted. Owners are emailed when it happens and when the organization is switched on again. To get access back, contact Altrum support.
